The Lotus Flower Residence, created for the South Korean ambassador, became one of Deka-Art’s landmark projects.
The architectural concept was based on neoclassicism enriched with subtle Eastern influences.
The interiors were united by a consistent theme in which the lotus flower, a symbol of Eastern tradition, appeared both directly and through more abstract associations.
To realize the ambitious transformation of the internal space, Deka-Art removed several monolithic floor slabs on the upper level and created a new independent structural frame inspired by the shape of a lotus flower.
The distinctive ceiling and floor configuration forms the cup of the flower, while a cascading chandelier featuring Swarovski crystals completes the central composition.
