LOTUS FLOWER RESIDENCE

One of Deka-Art’s landmark projects was the construction of a residence for the South Korean ambassador.

The design combined neoclassical architecture with Eastern influences.

The interior concept was developed as a unified composition, with the lotus flower serving as a recurring symbol of Eastern tradition.

The motif appears in both direct and subtle forms throughout the residence, creating a distinctive atmosphere.

To realize the ambitious transformation of the interior, Deka-Art undertook the removal of several monolithic floor slabs on the upper level and constructed a new independent structural frame.

The shape of the lotus flower inspired the distinctive configuration of the ceilings and floors, which were designed to resemble the form of a flower cup.

The composition was completed with a cascading chandelier featuring Swarovski crystals.
